Very Scared and Hopeless

I am on day 2 clean of being of vicodin, and I feel like I would rather die. I've been vomiting non-stop, have the runs non-stop, sweating like crazy, VERY ANXIOUS, and feel like I don't want to sit home, but feel like I don't want to go anywhere. Any advice???

Hi,

I know its really hard right now butyou only have 2, 3 days at the most to go through this. You're almost halfway there and you don't want to stop now. Those symptoms will go away soon. I know you don't want to hear this but as soon as you can exercise it really helps. It gets your natural endorphins working. Also if you can hold it down drink gatorade or ensure. Take vitamins, I actually doubled mine for a while.

There is a lot of helpful information in the Health pages. You an look at the amino acid protocol or the Thomas recipe. They are at teh top right of the page.

You are doing really well so just hang in there a couple more days. Most people feel day 5 is when most of the physical symptoms are gone.

Take care,
Melissa

It's all normal for detox.  It will get better though.  You can go to the Health Pages on this forum and look up the Thomas Receipe . It will help a little.  If you can get your doctor to call in some Clonodine to your pharmacy. It's a blood pressure med.  and will help alot.  Hang in there, you can get through this.  Keep posting and reading on here. You will get tons of support and information.
