Vic withdrawal

Hey guys, currently had a stint with vic 10's. About 6-8 a day for 3 weeks. Last 2 nights I felt that I had to keep moving my legs and it was difficult to fall asleep. I also have had a runny nose and diarrhea the past 3 days. I was wondering if I'm nearing the end? Thank you!

Congrats of kicking the habit!! It's soooooo wise of you to choose doing so now instead of waiting years (like most of us here). You'll feel so much better in a week or so (the first 48 hrs were the worst for me). Be sure you're taking vitamins/supplements and drinking tons of water. Eat potassium / bananas for the restless legs, oh and soak in epsom salt baths! Keep posting and letting us all know how you're doing!

Hi there & Welcome! Congrats on your decision to kick. So, what day are you on right now?

It doesn't sound like you were doing them that long. So, unless you had a previous habit, this really shouldn't last that long & you should bounce back sooner rather than later. Can you fill us in a bit more?

You're DOING it! Great job. Hold Fast! We're here & we're pulling for you,

I bet you will be way better tomorrow and Tuesday you will feel soooo refreshed.  I am on a CT turkey withdrawal also well was I am now 9 days clean from 10-15 a day for years and years. My 4th day was the turning day I woke up feeling sooo good and got soo much work done I had been putting off because of a broken knee. I also got everything done mostly pain free and also pill free with no issues and it felt sood good doing the work adn getting it done with out any pills I LOVE SOBER LIFE.

CONGRATS on you're achievement as well just keep up the work take hot baths and don't fight it if you can't sleep or legs are hurting get up and move around the more mad frustrated and tossing you do the worse it really gets.  For me it is the first 36-48 hours that are the worse when I CT withdrawal.  I AM NOT trying to scare you but some people go 7 10 12 14 days like it is still day 2 MY sister is one of them she couldn't beat the addiction and now she is on methadone. I so disagree with that stuff BUT hey some people it works for but I see her as a lifer on it or at least 20 plus years and it is soo sad. just some input on the situation but yea keep up the god work go with it and you get past it before you know it. Then it is true EVERYDAY is sooo MUCH BETTER then the great day prior.

Hello,
I was on those for a year at one time for fibromyalgia and I quit taking them cold turkey. I had all the same symptoms your having with withdrawal and the first 3-4 days were the worst. After that it got much better. They do make some over the counter meds that help with restless legs so I hope you are able to get some and get some rest. Good luck to you.
