Thanks, Last night I had an attack and took the last 2 of my Vicodin and today I felt awful. I hope its not WD symptoms but i seriously was not a happy camper. I hope everyone else is doing ok =).
I hope so....good luck and keep posting
Thanks for your input. I am having my gall bladder removed because I have had chronic problems with it. I have a really high pain tolerance and I only take the meds when i have gall bladder attacks because its the only thing that helps. Hopefully the surgery fixes all of this and I can stop taking the medication.

Hi, I am had back surgery and I hurt something aweful and was thinking about surgery again, I was on lorcet soma and valium, for more than 3 years. The last year I have no clue how many I took per day. I had other things going on in my life too. Anyway I am off the lorcet and all the other things 6 weeks now and I don't have the pain I used to have. I think pain killers make us have no tolerance for any kind of pain so we take more to stop the pain. No surgery for me I can tolerate the pain now. W/D's were hell the first week but they got easier, and I am glad to not be tied to all the meds. Just my view. Good Luck

The pain killlers are the addictve pills that you are taking.....When you take too many over a long period it is hard to get pain relief without taking more and more...perhaps the surgery will correct you pain..I would start cutting back on the pain meds before then...when is it?
How long have youu been on the vicodin??? Phengran is for nausea but I think it can be addictive if used to long or abused the dosage. Elavil is used for many things from depression, migraine prevention, sleep disorders, to colitis it is not addictive.
My concern is that you say you tend to mix several other pain meds like Tramadol which like vicodin is highly addictive and hard to detox from and fiorcet which in some cases has codine in it another opitate like vicodin and tramadol.
I would say yes, you may have an issue with pain meds. What is your pain and nausea from and how long has this been going on??? Opiates can help pain at first and then they make us unable to tolerate the smallest amout of pain because we build up a tolerance to them. This is the cycle that causes addiction.
Give us a little more info on your story and what surgery you are having so we can try to help you.
