If anyone on here snorts pills, please please stop! I will tell you why....

So here's my story, and this is the truth!  I started snorting pills over a year ago and it was fun at first.  The medicine got in my body quicker and I felt no pain quicker.  Well, back in Dec 2014 I started having horrible sinus infections and a scab formed in my nose during this time.  I picked and picked at it, when the scab came off there was a tiny hole in my septum!  Everything went uphill from there.  My nose and face hurt like hell  if I didn't snort a pill, I mean hurt like no pain I had ever felt before.  I dealt with this pain up until yesterday.  I had to have surgery on my nose yesterday, it was called an bilateral endoscopic debridement with biopsy.  I was put to sleep and the doctor had to go in and literally scrape out all of the crap that was up my nose.  Now I know why I was in so much pain, I had debri up my nose this whole time causing lots of nasal inflammation and extreme pain!  I've had a C-Section with the birth of my daughter and it was rough but I can honestly say that dealing with the pain in my nose for 5 months was ten times worse.  I had seen posts on other websites from folks who went through the exact same thing as I did, but they stopped posting before we could get their end result. There was a lady on one site whom stated she had to snort a pill every hour and a half to kill the pain and it was like my life was mimicking hers.  I literally had to snort half a pill every two hours to make the pain subside!  It was horrible!  I hated snorting pills in the end, I honestly wanted to be done but I couldn't because I couldn't handle the pain I was in if I didn't snort!  I  proud to say, this is day two without snorting a pill!!!!!!  I promised myself and God that if this surgery stopped my pain and healed my nose, I WILL NEVER SNORT A PILL or ANYTHING up my nose ever again!  It's not worth it!  The doc has me on hydrocodone for the pain and I also asked him to prescribe me some Motrin 800!  I  am gradually weaning off the narcotics as we speak.  I woke up at 3:30 with some pain and I took an Motrin and went back to sleep.  It's 10am here now and I can say that I really don't feel any pain other than having a sore throat from having that tube down my throat while I was knocked out in the OR yesterday.  I hope my story finds those of you who snort and hopefully gives you some insight that will maybe change your mind.  If you are not having nasal problems, keep snorting and you will.  I promise you, it's not worth the high to have to go through what I went through and am going through now.  If you are having nasal issues and need advice on exactly what I had to do to get the ENT to do this procedure, please feel free to ask!  I  an open book now. I want to apologize for being an *** in my previous posts and I had lied about how I got the hole in my nose.  I was just frustrated with being in pain and wanted advice on how to get relief and I felt like some people only cared about how I ended up with a hole in my nose.  Well, now you have my whole story, the brutal and embarrassing truth.  Stay well everyone and good luck to living a life in sobriety!!!

Thank you!  Day 4 without snorting and haven't thought twice about it!  I just hope my story can save some people from the pain I've had to endure.
