Snorting pills

Ive been snorting pills and the pain is awful. How can I stop while easing the pain. The only relief is snorting another pill. PLEASE help me!!

is there anything u can do to help the pain of ur nose.ive been snorting for over 10yrs.just started rehab they have me on suboxone that helps for withdrawls but my nose is killing me.it runs all the time my teeth hurt my throat.is there anything I can do to help the process.

can someone tell me if there's anyway to stop the pain of your nose after u quit snorting pills.suboxone helps w the withdrawls but from snorting pills my nose is killing me.i don't want too snort Tylenol just to stop the pain cause that's not helping anything.help me

You can do this! The first few days, even a week are tough, but you can do this.

I want to thank everyone for your advice and most encouraging advice. Im trying. This is day one ane I am in so much pain I want to die, but I am trying. I am determined. Please pray for me and thankyou again!!

First thing you have to do it stop snorting yes it will hurt for a few days but it will stop.It you want to stop using you can either go to rehab,ct or taper down from now on until you decided what you are going to do only swallow the pills.

correction: I AM currently on a taper down program.....I said NOT, but ment I  AM.

Well I'm here to tell you that You can do it...I think you get the point that its bad for you and the way you are taking them is Um bad...I think everyone above has told you that. I can share with you that I took Methadone for over 6 years daily and I got off it over 60 some days ago and I stopped when I was at 10 mg and it was not the funnest thing I have done but I'm darn proud now...I tell you, You will feel so much better. I have downer days and good days and Some days that I just am here...but You know what I'm Really happy to not be in as bad of pain as I thought I was in and I'm clean...I never took the pills for a High but it is the same job no matter what...Getting off pills is getting off pills..Well if you want to talk feel free to write me.....

Hi Bobbie.....I am a snorting oxy addict myself. Last night I had a pill in my hand...and anxiety because I have been so used to snorting full 80's at a time. I am not currently on a tapering down program....and some very kind people off this site guided me with kind, factual, and encouraging words...as I had the pill in my hand. Their encouragement and support relaxed me to a level that I realized the only reason I was still snorting...was because I was chasing the high, not wanting to get clean. So for the first time...last night...I swallowed my pill, and guess what...everything was okay. And not only that...It was very self gratifying and a feeling off accomplishment. I felt for once...I had control. Today...as much as I was sooo tempted to snort....I swallowed my dosage...and for the first time I feel like I am actually taking the steps to get clean....I ask you to follow my lead...and lets do it together. And thank you to those who have encouraged me these past few days.....I know a level of my sucess will be due to all you're support

My computer is screwed up so I'm going cliff-notes version. What in the hell are you snorting and how much?

If you are afraid to quit cold turkey, go to chewing then swalllowing the same doses.

You are best to go to rehab/detox immediately and don't turn back. Many people have successfully done it and many have relapsed it's all in your desire to quit.

The physical problems from snorting are horrible. Deviated septum, awful nose bleeds for no reason and whatever else. Stop now before you screw yourself for life.

N/a meetings are everywhere, but rehab and or detox are strongly suggested. Don't puss out just freaking do it. Get off the crap and your life, finances, relationships, and anything else you can think of will come back and people will accept you back!

Snorting is never the way to go for pain relief. It is too short lived and is sure to make/keep you addicted!

hello there and welcome.....the only way is to stop.....NOW....you think you are getting relief but it is just a mask....it s doing more harm....can you try to take the pills by mouth until your nose feels better?  maria

We can help you stop but are you ready to? What amount are you taking per dose per day? The first thing you have got to do is QUIT snorting.
