I'm very happy for you.  You should be proud of your accomplishment.  Relish in what you've already accomplished and start working on your plan to maintain your recovery long-term.  There's no specific model that works for everyone.  Many seem to have great success with meetings.  There's other things you can do as well.  I make sure my doctors know.  All of them.  My PCP, my knee doc, even my dentist.  I believe in bringing my addiction out of the shadows.  My family knows and many of my close friends know.  You probably don't want to post it on Facebook but make it part of your plan.  I think that if you can't do AA/NA then having a therapist experienced in addiction medicine is a wise move.  There's other meeting models that might work for you.  I have a family member who participates in Smart Recovery.  There are meetings but there also a web group that can meet online.  There's chat groups that you can access anytime, 24/7 if you find yourself being particularly tempted.  You will well served by considering these and any other things that can ensure your long-term recovery.

Time flies when you're having fun! Well, not really. You've busted your butt to get where you are and it's awesome to hear. Life goes on and now you have a taste of what reality is again. Don't let it go! Way to go :)

Hey Dude  congrats on making it threw to the other side....you fought a good fight  now it is time to fight to keep it.....memory's of the detox can last a wile  but as addicts they dont lst forever and as addicts we can talk ourselves into anything  this is why a countuing aftercare plan is critical  keep pushing the meetings  I realize your ok for the time being and thats great  my focus is when you get the down days  thats when aftercare carry's you threw  again congrats on 3 weeks

Thanks everybody!!  I feel accomplished and feeling much much better.  I am so happy that pills are out of my life.  The anxiety still lingering, but i know everyday i do not pop pills will get me back to feeling normal.  Sure i have some down days that seem boring, but i will continue to fight and never again let my beautiful life slip away like that.  Its unbelievable how 22 days have changed my life and my perspective on life.
