Where?

I'm a codine based cough syrup addict. Can anyone tell me how I can get to the page/site which deals with this specific problem. I'm not too good with comps so any suggestion will have to be detailed. Thanks (in anticipation)

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the response. I know my thanks is a few days off. Like I said I'm not too comfy with the comp. Hope you are one of those who believe in "better late than never".

Anyway had my last bottle on the 15th. 4 days hence and all's well. I've tried before also but was racked with vomiting and diarrhea. This time, no such attack.

Now that I think about it, I realize that the syrup I've been having for the last month or so seemed to be missing something. I'm pretty sure they were fakes (local mal). I  guess if I look at it in a in a really skewed way, it's one of the ironical advantages of living in a country like India (laws full of loopholes and corrupt monitors, if any).

The crux is that "i'm off" and hope to remain so.

Take care and know that even if most of you'll haven't communicated with me directly, reading your post helped me a lot .... thus you'll helped.

Thanks.

tntdynamiter (sorry, I know it's a stupid moniker but i live in a really small town)

There's no specific forum within medhelp that does only with cough syrup. But you came to the right place. Codeine isn't much different than vicodin, percocet, etc. They are all opiates and the addiction is identical as is the withdrawals and mental aspect of it. There are many here that can help. So post away!
