mother of teen boy suspects heroin,opium and more..what am i finding?????
i have recently just gotten my 15 yr old back from wildeness therapy camp and in less than 1 mo..he is into something i dont recognise.i know he did the orange oxy,i found little stonish looking things og varying color and hardness,some foil used in oven,baking pans covered w/little hard black substances,teenie bindles w/white uniform little rolly peices ,as well as white rock,ans black rock and peices that look like rock salt(that r not)pens w/ no midlles,bottle caps,tons and tons of quarters...some w/tarish junk (bits on them) and little straw wrappers all squised up and stashed in various places..what is it and what now.ive got him up mtn w/ his dad so hisfriends cant reach him w/ ease...but i need major help w/identity please,as i need to make some break from the torment living in this life of fear.i do love him incredibly,but also have a 1o yr old that i dont want xposed to these dangers...please help asap.lov n lite ,tanggirl

It is black tar heroin what you found. They put it into pill bottles with change usually a quarter nickel dime and a penny but honestly could be any combination of those with a little bit of baking powder or lactose or any sort of a powder then shake it up very hard until it becomes a snortable type substance. once that combination hits the moisture in the air it becomes a nasty residue which is what is on those coins. The little black specs or what happens to black tar once it's there without being mixed with the powder. They look like little perfectly round shiny black dots. You are lucky that you caught him while he still snorting/smoking. I would say best to rip the Band-Aid off now and do both yourselves a favor and don't start him on subs or methadone as even though the wds may be less intense I found that after a month and a half I was still feeling the cold sweats back pain and not able to sleep. So because of this of course I ended up relapsing doing heroin for another year and then finally I got on a plane to California to visit my sister for a month where I knew no one had no money and no means to go about finding anything. It forced me to get clean and after going through that kind of sickness I never wanted to experience it again and I've been clean ever since. (Mine never progressed to shooting but I did it for ~4 years and thank god because even that gave me 3 weeks of wd symptoms too gross and painful to even begin to describe)

I would say that a VERY easy way to tell is to go to your local Drugstore (like Rite Aid ) and there is a very accurate home drug test - all he does if give a urine sample - much like a pregnamcy test - and it either will or will not show positive. There is also a test for cocaine. NOW, if he balks and refuses the test - I believe thats a good indication he has something to hide.
Or, make a private appointment with his Dr. and tell him he is needed to go in for a CBC (Comlete Blood Count Test), you don't need to tell him that it is really a drug test- and get him in right away - Cocaine does not stay in the body more that 3 to 4 days, heroin and opiates up to a week so I would get this done now, it's way easier than trying to "figure it out" (what the substances are) by looking on the internet.
Marijuana is stored in fat cells, so that stays in the system from 21-45 days, depending on usage. YES, I know this for a fact, I used to be a medical assistant at 2 medical clinics. The important thing is to do this quickly, before the "proof" in the body is gone.

Coins are sometimes used to put cocaine into lines if you don't have a credit card or something on you. Sometimes it ends up tarnishing the coins, and the dirt sticks to the residue left on there.
The green liquid could be methadone, known as "The Green Syrup". It is an opiate which is used to help heroin addicts come off heroin, but recently was seen more as a street drug, with many addicts selling on their methadone for very low prices.
Heroin and Crack are often used together, one used to prevent feeling the comedown of another.
If your son is taking Methamphetemines (Speed) or Cocaine/Crack then he may seem restless, sleepless, agitated, more angry, euphoric and may speak quickly and gesticulate. Some physical signs of use would be dilated pupils, glassy eyes, quickened speech and - if coke - excessively licking his lips or mushing his lips together (which is caused because coke numbs your mouth, and sometimes makes it a bit tingly). He may also become paranoid.
With Heroin watch out for "pinprick pupils", slurred or unclear speech, nodding off (this is often clearest with teenage addicts at the dinner table as it can sometimes be almost the only place you see them). He would seem more drowsy. They can often get cramps when they next need a hit, my friend's were always in the morning in her legs. You may notice scabs that don't seem to heal, because heroin makes you itchy and so many users scratch at themselves without giving the scabs a real chance to close over and heal.
I would say it may be easier to determine the drug from his appearance rather than the drugs. Many drugs look similar, and if he is doing drugs then it may be more than one. Heroin ranges from white powder (when pure) through tan to a darker brown colour. The powder can sometimes look rocky. Cocaine is white powder which is usually snorted, freebase/crack cocaine is generally smoked. Crack "rocks" are (imo) roughly the size of a small peanut.

I HAVE FOUND A GLASS TABLE TOP W/SOME LITE GREEN STUFF (LIQUID-ISH)THAT HAS BEEN IN A CLOSET...AND ANOTHER FOIL?????
WAIT...you found a bottle cap with black sticky residue in it? Like tar? If so then I would guess that as being heroin. They melt it down in the bottle cap and then inject it into their body. Sometimes they will use a spoon too to melt it down. In otherwords he may be shooting up. That is NOT good. Maybe you should take a look at his arms see if he has needle marks.

Ive tried, its useless right now. My back is bothering me too bad. Im sitting here in bed though on the laptop and my dog is sleeping next to me. We just go him about 2 months ago, hes a great dane pup, probably 3 months old or so. He is the funniest thing, when he sleeps he snores...lllllooooouuuuuddddd...lol. He also must dream something aweful because he is always kicking is feet when he sleeps and he sleeps on his back with his paws shooting straight up in the sky. Its quite a sight..lol.
Yup Yup...that is the puppy thing. It is comical isn't it? Legs spread all the way...flat on thier backs, as if airing out LOL.

I have 2 labs..one is almost 8 yrs, and my other is a yellow who just turned a year. he was abandoned so I took him in. Boy just like the good ol days raising a baby!! He is all trained and everything now, but still has his moments if left alone!!! Or even sometimes if I am too busy on here, he gets into something just like he knows I am not paying attention. LOL.
But they are adorable aren't they? And it is so comforting when they cuddle all up with you. My 8yr old Black is really small..this yellow was already 68lbs at 6 mons. So you can figure how much of a lapdog he tries to be! He also HAS got to have a pillow!!!! He will climb up by one of us and sit right on our heads, as if he belongs there!! I make him have his own pillow now LOL. Need a football helmet when we go to bed, never know when we will wake up with 2 black eyes!!

o.k the little rocks range from golden,dk.brown,and white..think u r right(prob. crack)but the junk that is obviosly been heated and (smoked?)looks like smaller than pinky nail and hardened tarish stuff...now...it was seen in my oven(prob. 2 high 2 cover his trax)on baking sheet as lil black hard blobs (maybe to heat and inhale..his eyes were so pinned 1 day(xmas eve)that i told him 2 go 2 bed while i got 2 bottom of this...stil tryin>he is the tpe to deny all,unless i have all evidence of findings,so he has no where to turn.the quartrs have residue on them????and he must have spied something in my car because i found sticky dk stuff under the armrest(he really must have wanted it,he tried to dissassemble the ara to no avail.cant find anything that would tel me "yes,the coins r used 4 this...and the dark stuff is....)frusration....all help invited please

Well I think you must have left for awhile. According to your first initial post in my opinion what you have found sounds like meth or crack cocaine. You said you were missing some foil and the shells of pens. A person who smokes meth can do so off of foil and they suck the smoke up through the straw. Have you found any of the foils? If you do they will probably be in a rectangular shape folded in half or bent into a U shape. This is how they can smoke it. They run it up and down the foil. If you happen to find one of those pens hold it up to the light and you will see what seems to be crystals inside of it. This is the meth or crack that sticks to the pen when they suck the smoke through the pen. If it is meth or crack you need to get a handle on it right away. I am talking from experience. My ex was hooked on it, still is actually. He got to the point to where he had to do more and more of it to get the high. Well he got tired of buying it so he learned how to make it. Needless to say he did get caught with a meth lab and went to jail.
How has your son been acting? If its meth he will not be eating or sleeping. It wires you so that you can stay awake for days upon days without sleep or food. Most people on meth do not take care of themselves either. They let their personal hygene go down the tubes. These are just some things to look at.

sorry,boulder colorado..big shitty drug area in disquise.and no he hadnt anytng like this b4 i took him 2 camp...he did coke and ranaway,when he returned the truck was packed and off i went w/ him...lots of $ for a more progressive situation now!!!!!!

See thats what I was wondering. I am in Iowa and that is the big time drug here right now. Seems like everyone is doing it. Well the government is making it harder for people to make by putting psudoephadrine behind the counters. That only helps so much though because now they are bringing it up from mexico, and I imagine Colorado is right there in the path. I am willing to be its either meth or coke. When my ex made his meth it turned out different colors. I know one time it turned out to be purple and another time green and when its colors like that I guess its more potent.
