Been a little slow here lately so I will try and get your attention.. We have all had our issues with substance abuse or you would not have found this site I assume,  And I myself have fallen off the wagon a hand full of times mainly due to accidents that resulted in pain management ( PILES OF PILLS) now although I LOVED extreme anything the sad part is that when taking pain meds my sex drive is way down to a point I just loose it all together and took ED meds to help well I have to say that if anyone out there wants to get back what they are missing IE the love of sex well it comes right back just like when you were in your 20's unless your still there now hahaha but for those of us just past the century mark it makes all the difference in the world it make your clean time that much more !! best of luck to those out there.. and as a Vet if your cruising the site looking to jump into recovery what a better day than the 30th of may..!!

Hey Jerry.....well after a 15yr battle with opiets I know this fact to well at first the pills made me like a porn star I could keep going for hours but after time I could no longer orgasm but still could go all night  it wasent till I got on the methadone that it all came crashing in...  it only took about 2yrs on it became impossible to keep it up  even with viaga it dident help much....now that im clean we have a great sex life everything is working fine again  just know if your out there with this problem it will correct it self once your clean again

Well of coarse this post got me too..Hahahaha!

Yep!! Everything seems to be WAY better when we are in our right minds and NOT altering it with some kind of substance..Wow! Do I remember how hooorny I got when coming off those pills. This just goes to show us that the Brain and Body does adjust back after the removal of any substance.

Surprise surprise, this got my attention!! lol

I always tell the ones who are thru the wd's and wondering if their sex life will ever come back to just put some bottles of water by their nightstand cuz when it comes back it comes back with a vengance!!  I have been clean for 8 yrs and it just gets better and better!!
