Well, how much were you taking?  Were you taking it only for sleep?  What is the doctor's plan?

Allteril and melatonin are all natural and not addicting.  I'm fairly sure you can use them in addition to whatever the doctor has prescribed.  And if what he's prescribed isn't working, have you spoken to him about that?  Is he willing to adjust his plan?

I am in the withdrawel process, but find it extremely difficult.  I feel I cannot function properly and feel sick the whole time.  I am under doctor's supervision but I don't think I can do it the way the dr. prescriped.  I need a stronger tranquiliser for during the day.  I don't know what to do.  I really want to stop the Ambien.

How much do you take and how long have you been on it?  I'm not sure if it's something you can stop CT or if you need to taper.  Best to ask your doctor or pharmacist.  I was on it for years, and I did stop CT and used melatonin and Allteril instead.  I actually find the Allteril works better for sleep than the Ambien did.
