Drove me nuts, and I didn't see it coming.  It was worse in one leg, and I too used a heating pad.  It did finally pass though, so hang in there.

Eat bananas for the potassium and take multi-vitamins. I found that the RLS was greatly reduced if not gone completely.

I HATE RLS - If I wore some tap shoes to bed I'd be doing Riverdance. Hated it - luckily only had it on lower legs - calf - can't imagine it spreading. hated laying in bed TRYING not to think about it - thought it was my imagination until I came here! It goes away eventually tho.

I found what helps me is if I put the fan on my feet and freeze them...but that's just me, might not be for everyone.

You have NEVER had RLS?!?! I thought it was standard issue for withdrawels. How the hell did you get away with that?  LOL  I think some scientists need to do some research on you and find the secret to this.

To be honest that is one WD symptom that I've never experienced and have been through WD's many times.  I read about it all the time but don't even really realize what it is.  It sounds pretty miserable though.

Yes I do have it in my hands too. That is horrible at night but the day it is not bad the mental and usually the bathroom trips are horrible but this time like i said i am taking tons of loperamide and that has helped. oh it is everything all together the body aches the tunnel vision i have od years ago after iv dilaudid and i was revived but these last few years of this makes me feel closer to death. which i know is not true but it just feels like it right now.

definitely the worst part for me...my pain was all in my upper thighs though.  the baths do help, as does a heating pad...I took mine to work!
