i am just a few days clean (AGAIN!), and find that at this stage of the game i have bouts of anger. disproportionate anger. i just came in from stacking wood to release the physical part. i wanted to hit someone or something very badly. an hour before that i was trying my hand at writing all occasion greeting cards for addicts both in and not in recovery. i am a fair writer and thought that would be a good way to make some cash while spreading experience and wisdom, yes, even though i wanted to hit someone, doesn't mean i am not wise. does anyone know of a way to go about doing this?( not hitting someone. i know how that is done. lol) your responses would be greatly appreciated. see that? i can spell too! blessed be.     sway

So do i get one of those cards:) I still have bouts of anger, but it never lasts long, just moments of stupidity sometimes. Going through w/d's and early recovery i think many of us have some anger or not a lot of patience. try going out for a walk or a hot bath to clear the mind.

hi Sway, I am glad your clean again. I bet your husband dont mind you being mad.... I'm sure he will say stack away...lol... I am on prozac now but years ago I was on it because of anger proublems and every time I went off it everyone new! Maybe talk to your dr and he can help. Now i am on it again but when I get pissed I do what U do go outside and work alittle, I know this didnt help I am sorry, but I wish u good luck.
