would a doctor persribe a low dose of one drug to keep a pregnant girl to avoid her going through withdrawals during pregnancy,  would the doctor also recommend and advise that breastfeeding would still be safe

As long as this girl is being truthful with the doctor she should be okay.

Some medications are fine to take during pregnancy. She should see a professional to see what can and can not be taken. The same would go with breast feeding.
