been reading alot about this tramadol and just want answers

So as we all know i am 5 days clean from ALL drugs, and this question is not for me personaly just out of corusity. I KNOW TRAMADOL is addictive and a ***** to kick, i have never taken one and would"nt even know were to  look if i wanted one. But i hear people saying they used them ( and after reading i know its dangerous) for 4 or 5 gdays to get off hydros, but i wonder, if i understant correctly they are an\ syntatic opoite, so would that just prolong your withdrawls from the hydro? and would you be addicted to those after a 5 or 6 day use. I believe there is a lot of unclear facts about this drug, and like i said, to me it seems you would still be putting opoites in your body so wouldnt you just still have the same w/ds after those 4-6 days of takin tramadol? just wondering

You really would be setting your self up for another addiction .It gave me the same feeling of narco and percs it got to the point hydro and oxy did not help my pain.My WD however was far worse then it ever was on hydro.

yeah thats what i hear "devil pills" i was just wondering. So would they infact make your body feel as it had opaites only prolonging the real w/d or would you still w/d from opiates while using them only to sitting yourself up for another addiction?

THEY ARE A Partial sythithic opiate that works on the same MU receptor as morphine

It is addicting
You do have euphoria
It should NOT be used by ANYONE with addiction issues.

What is the most important information I should know about tramadol?
Physical Dependence and Abuse

ULTRAM may induce psychic and physical dependence of the morphine-type (μ-opioid) (see DRUG
ABUSE AND DEPENDENCE). ULTRAM should not be used in opioid-dependent patients. ULTRAM
has been shown to cause physical dependence in some patients that have been previously dependent on
other opioids. Dependence and abuse, including drug-seeking behavior and taking illicit actions to obtain
the drug, are not limited to those patients with prior history of opioid dependence

You should not take tramadol if you have ever been addicted to drugs or alcohol.
Seizures (convulsions) have occurred in some people taking tramadol. You may be more likely to have a seizure while taking tramadol if you have a history of seizures or head injury, a metabolic disorder, or if you are taking certain medicines such as antidepressants, muscle relaxers, or medicine for nausea and vomiting.

It was my drug of choice and hell to get off of

kewl, i was just wondering, i have heard few people using them for w/d and i just always wondering if the were only putting them off. But what i get out of your reply is that since it has no "real" opiate in it, that you would still w/d but maybe a lil less them norm, boy that might have been good to know 5 days ago, then again i am glad i felt the pain so i remember why never to pick up another pill. thanks bro

The tramadol is fully synthetic.....it has no opiate qualities in it. It actually works much more like an antidepressant on steroids. Affects seretonin to a great degree. Doesnt work as cross tolerance because of the total lack of poppy juice in the trams. You would also need to take them for a lot longer than a week to experience withdrawal symtoms........The last thing that I read indicated that they were in the process of being rescheduled to a higher class.....
