c/t wasn't for me, want to taper

Can you buy hydrocodone online? I want to taper but don't have enough to last. I won't purchase on the streets and don't want to tell my doctor because I have a chronic illness and I don't want to take the chances of that being in my file. My last resort is online but I never did it before. I only need like 30 to taper from 4/5 a day slowly over the month. Can anyone give me a website or is that not available to give me that info here?  Or do you have any other suggestions? I really want to quit just c/t completely flared up my illness and was unable to even care for my kids. I lasted like 8 days than started taking a few to ease my pain. My email id ***@****

Any suggestions?

But i feel for her, because i have been there with not enough to taper and that sucks when you are really trying to help yourself get off of these pills.

Not to hijack this thread- but dsm, straight up, can a "proper" taper prevent withdraws completely?

Or at least, how much w/d mitigation do you think one might get by tapering vs c/t?

I have like 100+ and have gone a whole week w/out - broke down and took some maybe 5-6 over last few days......but I think I can almost go 12-24 hrs between doses w/out real issues.... u think I may have a chance to avoid what I went thru when I decided to CT?

any thoughts...

No offense here. I understand where you are at... I have been there.. I just wanted to let you know so you knew why you were not getting responses about it..
I think talking to your doc is the best idea... yes he will probably put something in your file.. but that just may save your life right now.. 24 probably isn't enough to do a proper taper.. but I would still start tapering tommorrow with what you have..

I just counted and I have 24 pills left. Is that enough to taper? I've been taking 4/5 for the past 2-1/2 months and then went overboard and have been taking 6/7 for the last 5 days. Before that I was taking 10 for 9 months. I take 5/500. What can I do?

I understand and I hope I didn't offend anyone I'm just in a pinch and need help getting out. I guess I have no choice than to scheduale and appointment with my doc. Will it be in my file that I have a problem with pills than? I just can't have my credibility destroyed because having an invisible illness is hard enough to get docs to take you seriously. I have testing to prove my illness but I'm just scared to tell my docs.

This isn't the kind of info we give at this forum... we can answer all the questions you have about how to do the taper and our experiences with tapering.. but we can't give out info on how to obtain the drugs to do it.. sorry. just not what the forum is about..

Hi this is pre-written for new people… hope this helps:

It’s good to come clean with your doc concerning your desire to get off.  Ask him to prescribe clonidine, (not klonopin), and ativan.  These will help with sleep, RLS and anxiety.  These are best to try before formal detox and drugs like Suboxone.  I had to do formal detox because I tried everything else, including alcohol to get off and nothing worked for me.  Keep in mind that when you try… make it a good one!  Have some time off of work if you can… maybe a four day weekend or more.  Make the last day of work without any drugs, because the first day is usually the easiest.  Try your best to get clean and stay clean because the other methods require more potent drugs and you have to come off of those.  I am still on Suboxone and am a little worried about that… It does work well but the jury is out on, “At what Cost.”  I also learned while in detox, that the mind can psychosomatically create pain to “get’ the drug.  Another was that healing while using opiates greatly diminishes.  I would have sores on my hands that would take way too long to heal.

I have to say this from the bottom of my heart,  Please do not keep playing around with these drugs they are very powerful ….. kinda like heroin in a pill and just as hard to get off once you attain the, "addicted" status.
Ps.

buying online is risky business especially now a days.

But the point it that Medhelp would like us to not include our emails in posts at all.. It is now against the terms. and they have put it the thing to block email addresses..

did you just do c/t than? How can I get you my email? I have to volunteer at bible camp this week and with a chronic illness it's hard enough, I don't know what I'm going to do. I hate that I got myself in this mess, I should have just suffered though if I have been taking 5 per day of 5/500 for the last 5 days will w/d be just as bad as it was 2wks ago when I went c/t? An addiction specialist said I should go back on and taper because I was doing so bad but now I wish I hadn't listened.
