I used the taper off  method and working with my doctor .........just finished last dose of Cipralex 20 mg  on August 22 and  am now off Clonazapam 2mg.         As  you are all aware not much fun but hoping to plow through it successfully. Not to worry  Yes Idid I am used of  the horror stories on a lot of things.  Some I ignore - some have value for me. Thanks everyone for your responses.will  keep in touch

I would strongly suggeat tou simply work with your doctorvon a goodbtaper plan and stay off the internet for this one. Everyhody isvdifferent and the internetbonky includes horror stories. Think aboutbit - how many people buy a lawn mower that works like expected, then get in tge internet and write about the fact that it cut their lawn and worked fine for a few years? Now how many people buy lawn mowers that don't work then get on the internet and complain? Many many more right. Benzo withdrawal can be tough and even dangerous but done propelrly, most people survive with minimal affects. Then they Don't write about it. The stories on the internet will scare the heck out of you and increase your amxiety. Follow your doctor's instructions and take it one day at a time. Good Luck and God Bless.

i hope you are not going cold turkey.  it is very dangerous. must be tapered.

my withdrawal from benzo was absolutely NO sleep for 8 days.  very tired and no energy.
