cocodamol 30/500 addiction

hi I have been addicted to cocodamol for the last 6 years and I am planning on going to a drug clinic with my mum on the 19th of this month.I have been taking 15-20 tablets all together every night for a really long time I have a two day break sunday and monday and feel like Im going to die when I dont have them ,very deppressed and unable to feel happy apart from the physical problems mentally I find it hard to cope without them.I am now anorexic not because I want to be thin but just due to the tablets.I will not go to my own doctor because I want to keep this off my records. My question is this; how long in reality will it take me to recover mentally and psyically from them as every time I have tried on my own it just gets worse by the third day and my heart starts to beat to a rythem of its own.thanks for any feedback.

Sorry your post was not answered however weekends are slower than usual here. I remember reading posts about cocodamol and I think it was what we call Demerol here. At any rate I know that it was an opiate and that makes it pretty much the same story as mine. As a rule most here seen to say that days 3 and 4 were the worst and 5 was better. For me day 4 was better.If you go onto the right side of the forun and find health topics there are a few articles that will help you tremendously. One is PAWS1 (Post Acute Withdrawl Symptoms) This will help you know what to expect. Also Thomas Recipe will give you some advise on things that will help with detoxing. I'm not sure what you mean by clinin over there. Is it for Methadone or Sub? I don't know much about them hovever there are also articles on them under health topics as well. Hopefully more members with experience there will come on later and can help you.
