I t seems that you tapered off it quite successfully.. did your doctor help you with the tapering? were you prescribed xanax for anxiety, stress etc? we need a bit more background to better advise you. My DOC was also xanax and I am now clean. Occasionaly my heart does the same thing as yours and when it does I try to keep myself relaxed until it subsides.. the thing is I was on xanax for a few years and I have been clean for almost 3 weeks and so with me I think it is my body adjusting... have you seen a doctor for it? keep us posted and good luck

Maybe you should take xanex?  Was it perscribed to you?  Do you have anxiety?  I used to be perscibed Xanex for anxiety because my heart would race....Its not bad if your perscribed it and you arent abusing it, ya know?  I dont know your story though, and Im not the best person to get advice from, because I cant quit taking other pills right now.  Someone will be on here soon to help you out more.  Good luck.
