day 2 hot and cold sweats

i'm 56 year old and have been on vics.a morphane , vics for year and have ct many times. but i have been on morphane 60mg a day for about 1 1/2 months and i m gave gone ct and is on day 2 , but how long is the cold and hot flashes going to last they are the worst.

for most ppl the bad physical stuff last about a week and then it will slowly get better.  i know it is hard now but it will be worth it.  you have made 2 days, be proud of yourself...keep on goin.

I too am in day 2. I suspect they will be around thru day 4 at the most. Keep posting and keep coming back. It takes time for others to read what you write. I have found music, immodium, tangerines and other vitamins, including Boost drinks VERY helpful. I had been on them for 8ish years, so I kinda know what your dealing with here. Its BAD, but obtainable as most will tell you. Share your story, write often as it does help. Almost therapeutic in a way. Nyquil will help you sleep. I got clonodine for help, came clean with dr and she gave me those. Kinda good cause I already have and take bp meds. Post and or write me anytime.
