feels like i have a headcold now sneezing itchy scratchy throat hard to breath. Whats going on? is this another part of withdrawl?

gnarly ahhhhh sleep, Whats that?? oh how i miss my sleep. Have probably slept maybe 10 hours in the last 6 days. i feel like a Zombie.

HI.....sounds to me like you picked up a bug....if its just mostly sneezing and runny nose that could still be withdrawals its great your off the stuff so quick it dosent have a chance to get a hold of you like this how are you sleeping??

I also experienced shortness of breath during methadone withdrawals and I was unsure of what to attribute that to...I considered it could be anxiety, something I had never really been familiar with.  The sneezing is a definate symptom of withdrawals...sometimes I thought I might never catch my breath from sneezing over and over.
Another thing to consider is that your immune system is somewhat lower and many people find themselves susceptible to colds, infections, etc. after detoxing.  Try to drink some chicken soup/broth and live like you have a bad cold or flu.
If the breathing thing gets worse, I would recommend speaking with your doctor as that is nothing to mess with.
I am glad that you used methadone for short-term maintenace rather than long-term, it will make it way easier...though still uncomfortable.  You may want to check out some natural remedies listed in the health pages on the right...and in my journals, I have posted a variation of the Thomas Recipe using all natural ingredients and remedies that will alleviate some of your symptoms.
