well its 945p where we are and day seven is winding down, we were both home for the 1st week of hurricane opiate...it was pure h##@##LLL  but we withdrew together, stuck to the thomas recipe and held each thru cravings and the emotional rollercoaster..and plan on still taking our supplements..then my fiance bless her heart had to go back to work..and we knew it was comming, and of course it did ..you peeps have said and we read to open up,and she did, shes a supervisor over a dept and was off all week and when she returned it was like her boss had a tude for her being off for a week, and yes she snapped told her she was detoxing and had no idea what she has been thru, so by the grace of god she got her last week of vacation and is home for another week :) :) the fatigue is killing us and a big trigger,, but we got another week to deal with it,we'll stay posting, for i dont have to work for time being..special thanks to jammerson and stevo for your wonderful inspiration and caring and thanks for all the peeps who are out there 'one day ahead r two days bhind us, for we could never do this on our own, weve thought about aa/na and will try to go, but last time there was an incident where an old timer told her who he saw there.. what happened to " who u c here what u hear here let it stay here"  day  8 is 2morrow and u can bet your but we'll be on here reading your wonderful posts of inspirations ..thank u all so much, and for couples out there its a wonderful thing to go thru together giving the circumstances, cause if one quits and the other dosent in my opinion it'll never work ,your love for each other has 2 b stronger than the love you shared for those "devil pills" god bless you all ..in my opinion hes been there all along waiting for us to ask him for help and he will listen..we are not religous just spiritual......thank you please help us for we know whats ahead

Hurricane opiate? Bet it's been a strong category 5! You guys are doing well so keep up the good work! Sorry about the NA experience. It's like finding the right church. There's bad seeds at every one, you just have to find the one that works for you. The idea is that changing your old habits will in effect help release the obsession that opiate addiction is.

There's always someone here in the same stage or a day or two ahead in the withdrawal process so it's beneficial for yourself and others to share your experiences and support each other.

Great job!

May you be blessed with success..A little exercise each day to elevated your breathing slightly will help..Kinda blows out energinessless stuff and brings energy back in..And at times it does feel like baby steps, but every little bit helps a person get back into a groove..A different groove. One where pills don't rule..

Getting the extra week was probably a good move. Take this time to work on the energy issue..The more you start moving around, the easier it starts to become..Still feel zapped inbetween any major activity, but its part of a relearning process..To think and act without what we used to rely on for strength as thats what the pills literally did. Said "you can't do things without me"..What an evil medicine in that aspect..

Great job on the team effort..I love reading things like this..Warms the heart..:).
