the precipitated withdrawal from suboxone taken to early is beyond hell lol. i was given a subutex from a friend when i missed a 130mg dose of methadone and i wound up in the hospital because of it. good news is since you got through the PW and still sticking it out then your already on the downhill so to speak. it will not get close to what you have already went through, for sure.if you go cold turkey, (no subs) id give yourselves a good week maybe even 2 to get through the acute withdrawal before going back to work, but we live in reality and i know that is rarely possible lol. if you only used heroine then you will probably peak soon and the acute part will be over in 5-7 days but thats with my metabolic rate. PWs might even shorten that time. Even after 7 days though your not gonna feel great, your still gonna have acute symptoms with the onset of PAWS (post-acute withdrawal syndrome) which brings in the severe lack of energy and motivation. Thats the hardest part to get through in my experience. hydrate and get some vitamin b complex and high carb protein shakes. They help alot even with other symptoms like stomach cramps, ibs, and if it gives you enough energy to exercise a little, it should even help with muscle pain/cramps. also its good to see a family physician for help. they can prescribe meds like clonodine to diminish symptoms in acute withdrawal and even colonazapam for anxiety, rls, and to help you both be able to sleep. They dont prescribe benzos very often for opiate withdrawal but some get lucky, however clonodine is prescribed on a regular basis for opiate withdrawal and it really does help.

How long have you and your wife been doing H?
Depends how much you used and for how long?
You could be in " physical w/d" for up to 2 weeks give or take.
The worst of it the " peak" is 3-5 days but everyone's diffrent, so your approaching the thick of it.
Be okay with being sick for a bit, keep yourself occupied. Talk to your wife, read, movies etc.
Thomas recipe is something you can google with ingredients you can buy to help ease w/d symptons.
Baths help the best in my opinion as well as immodium.
You'll have trouble sleeping but melatonin may help.
God bless!
