I took 10 1 milligram xanax for ten days due to death in family doc said i needed them wehnt through withdrawal almost two years ago and never want to go through that again so I am really scared I will go through it again please any advice will help of assurances

Yeah...I'm confused on that,too. But that would be 10mgs. a day which is a whopper of an amount !!

Snowflake~ You'll be fine if it was just 1mg per day.  Try to taper them down over the next few days. You can break them in half. Best bet is to check with the doctor who gave them to you. He'll know what to do!

You may not suffer withdrawal symptoms but are you aware that you should not quit Xanax ct? Short period of time or not, it should always be tapered.

I do not think you will go through withdrawal for that small amount.  Are you still taking them? If you have stopped do you feel bad? If you haven't do you have enough to step your self down and not stop cold turkey? Good Luck!

I would not think 1mg for 10 days would be a withdraw problem for an average person. I would not even think it would have much if any effect at all, and if it does become a wd problem the wd effects would be mild at best. swagger
