You have to do what works for you. after so many times trying to quit you need to find something that works. Whatever keeps you off of those pills then do it..just try something..don't  be a prisoner to your own addictions..The  only thing that will help you is finding something and sticking to it, no matter wht people say.

Sub is an evil drug second to Methadone. It was one of the worst drugs I ever withdrew from.  Goo luck to you, Cliff

suboxone was the best thing i could of done!  a friend recommended it to me, i didn't do it right away cuz i didn't believe it until i seen how much better she was after just 2 wks .. i thought wow!!!  i've been on it since april and i feel great!  my life is finally getting back to normal.  i'm no nearly as moody as i wz before.  can get up in the a.m. and start my day as soon as i get outta bed without having to take a couple of pills, wait for them to kick in, then start  .. its great!  i mentioned it to another friend who wz taking 30 vics a day for almost 4months, spending amost 500.00 a wk ( he has that kinda $$ ) he went on it also and did it for 2 wks, then ended up doing 1/4 of an 8mg pill for maintenance ... everytime i see him he tells me how thankful he is for giving him the drs name and # .  I'm sure he would of ran outta money sooner or later w/that kinda of an addiction ... peace!

OK no I'm not off yet but remeber that I have been facing a felony DUI for over a year, (no one was hurt, it's just because of priors).

Honey, I don't know how many times I've tried to quit by myself but with the subs you can't get high and don't want to use more like our dee oh cees.  You never are in violation of the law and you feel relitively normal.

I much prefer this than trying to quit the other.

I am confused.  I really want to quit scared of the doctor putting me on this junk.
I forget did you have trouble coming off it.
since I am taking  4 pills a day every 4 to 5 hours could I be off sub by say 14 days?
I do not want to change one bad w/d for another!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but I would be leary about the dose and would have no problem taking less than prescibed.
I hear some docs do not want you to get sober.  I hope for the majority that is not true.
