Imodium is for your comfort. If you can do without it, fine. Diarrhea is the body's way of ridding toxins from it. Bananas are a very good way to get nutrients and slow the diarrhea some. Another recipe is 1part white rice to 4 parts water. Biol until it is like wallpaper paste. This will stop up most anyone.
oh I was gonna say at one point I had a huge bowl of speghetti and I was fine but I don't know if it was because the noodles were whole grains or that my body was slowly going back to normal. but I don't know if whole grains was the key or not. lol just making some observations on my experence on that.
hummm... do not eat wheat either ( jk )...
i don't think going with diarrhea for many days has any benefits at all. keep drinking a lot of fluids.
If you don't want to take anything for it like imodium, i would advise you maybe some supplement like apple pectine, eat rice because it is rich in starch ( don't wash it nor eat it dry )
I went without immodium. I am 2 weeks clean now(YAY!!) and now it is on a every other day cycle now. the first 3-4 days keep your fluids up! and continue to take the vitamins no matter what they still get absorbed slightly. I got muscle twiches at night if I didn't eat and drink lots if water. I drink a protein shake before bed and slept ok through the night. I don't drink coffee either during my healing phase! it will dehydrate you severely. green tea or water or Gatorade. the protein shake (I think) saved me from alot of discomfort at night. if you decide to get one make sure you get one that forces your muscle to take up water! so you have some sort hydration going on in your body. there are different kinds of protein shakes out there but I used one and it helped out alot! if you want the named brand I got message me and I'll give it to you. hope this helps ya!
God bless
