discouraged and

I have been taking hydrocodone for about a year.  I currently take 4 7.5 a day.  I have several issues most pressing I have to have an invasive redo carpal tunnel surgery and normal one on the other hand.  I have to have back surgery for 3 discs.  I also have spondylosis in my neck which needs surgery also.  I was put on a pain patch for about three weeks which did not want to stay on.  I am in major pain and nothing seems to help.  I don't know if these pain pills or patch's strengths need to be more.  my pharmacist has been so hard on me.  I almost feel like a druggy.  Very hard to deal with.  I would like to wean off  and an also on Ambien and phendometrozine for nerve pain and Cymbalta.  I dont' want to take any of these. I just don't want to end up like I was before taking them if not worse.  The hydro doesn't really help me much.  I am just over not being able to use my hands and arms much and when I do the pain is very severe.    I would appreciate your prayers and any advice you are led to give.  Thanks so much!!!!

sounds like you are having a tough time getting support. It is always good to monitor one's use.  However, it looks like you have been using your meds appropriately.    I have one suggestion, before others chime in.  There is a pain management forum that also might be helpful.
