Def needs a plan this drug is not a joke. I lost a close friend in Nov young guy H wasn't his thing n he knew abt my problem so he kept it from me. He didnt know how dangerous it really was. U have a great opportunity here ur son is telling u whats up and u coming here n doing sum homework shows ur love n dedication. Ur on the right track good luck n God bless. Let us know how he's doing n we're here if he needs to talk.

is he still hanging around with the same people, going to the same places as he did when he was using? has he gone to any counseling, support groups to help prevent relapse? is he acting differently then when he used?
the physical withdrawal symptoms are generally over within a week.
the cravings and the emotional aspect last much, much longer.
he needs to work a recovery plan each and every day to keep himself
clean and sober.
how old is your son?

Is your only concern that hes using again because hes "up and about" after 4 days of detox?? Are there other signs which are leading you to feel this? As blotout said, W/D's are different for everyone (usually 3-5 days though) but yes, usually the longer someone has used, the harder it is to kick typically.
