Ive always heard that Xanax is the most addictive out of that benzo category. Are you currently taking these pills? What are your intentions here? I need a lil more info.
I have been on both and i think they both are very addictive but if u really need it for like panic attacks or annixty and only take it when needed it shouldnt be a problem but both are very habbitt forming
Valium is addictive, however it remains an excellent drug for anxiety, with few serious side effects, and it is not a respiratory depressant. It works quite well for panic attacks. A certain universe of individuals have a genetic problem in metabolizing the drug because of faulty CYP450 enzymes. If yopu hear a patient say "I used it and it didn't help at all" they probably fall within this category. Decades ago, when I worked in a hospital, we could obtain valium in the ER without a prescription. It was given out like aspirin. It is very unfortunate that it became a schedule one drug, with the drug enforcement administration tracking down phjysicians who prescribe it. Valium does degrade situational awareness as well as intellectual acuity, and may interfere with driving safety, although that is more of a problem for the first time user. I have used it (prescribed by a physician) rarely, when under extreme stress, and then only for a day or two, and never became addicted.
