No it made me feel good, thanks! Had a really great day, taught myself how to use my i pod, tackled a huge job in the house, and guess what? never thought about withdrawal or drugs or anything just happy. One sad thing though, i went through the last nine years of pictures and there's only one of me, like i didn't exist, well NEVER again am i going to waste a single breath of my life, i'm living the hell out of it from now on!!! Btw 105 hours and counting and dang proud of it. Thanks so much.
reallyneedhelp - you count your progress any way you want - it's all good in my book. You are doing great - and I agree wuth udoschoices - find some kind of aftercare to protect yourself as you move further out. It's just good planning - and hang in there - for what it's worth - I am REALLY proud of you! (hope that didn't sound too preachy or self-righteous?:)
i highly suggest going to meetings or some sort of aftercare. I struggled with a 30+ day norco habit also and always relapsed after days 5-8.. its not easy. The physical withdrawal is actually the easiest... its the mental demons that tell you it's ok to "just have a few" and then you go right back to where you started... trust me, i struggled for 4-5 years trying to shake the habit and just now have 43 days clean and had to use Sub to get off...
good job, now keep it up
Keep counting any way you want! You are helping me :)
i really appreciate the comment, i only counted so people would know where i am in the detox. I had such a horrible addiction of 30 plus norco's a day and i REALLY want to let people know that you can just quit. I just want to help them. And now it's entering day 4 and i feel GREAT!!!
Thanks for the encouragement!!!
if I can make a suguestion don't count hours makes seem longer than it really is count days so you are 3 1/2 days and that is great good job keep it up you will have your life back
Keep up the good work. U r doing awesome!
