It's official...wish me luck

Took my last dose of taper meds a little earlier. It is official...I'm done with this. Hoping the taper helped me get through the worst of it since I did it so quickly. 10-11 Norco per day down to 2 in less than 3 weeks. The only reason I took today's is because I have to function for the first part of the day...have an obligation I can't get out of. But as of this afternoon I've got nothing on my calendar till Thursday. Do you guys think I'll be through the worst of it by then? Will I be able to deal with people and social stuff by Thursday? If I have to cancel that to get through this I will, but hoping not to. Day one here I come...wish me luck. And thanks to all of you who've been so supportive and helpful with my questions.

Hey good luck on your journey to sobriety just remember you can do this we all go thew detox to get to the other side...lots of hot baths help with the chills and the creepy cralies .....try to use your withdrawal symptoms to strengthen your resolve to quit
and I have said this a million times....ya just got to be ok without being ok for a wile
you will eventually get past the physical stuff ...you should look up N/A meetings in your area and get pluged into one that or a substance abuse conslor but something so you dont relaps you only want to do this once and aftercare has keept me clean 139 days

You know we're all pulling for you.

I think you did a great job tapering and it will certainly alleviate some of your suffering.  You should be OK for Thursday, you can certainly fake it if not!!!!  ha ha

Good luck is often with the man that does not include it in his plans!!!!  Get the Thomas stuff and the immodium and get rid of any pills you have lying around.

Very happy to hear your determination in : "I'm done with this".  THAT is the attitude you need to do this.

I am elated to see you join the club!!!!!  Go get your membership card!!!!
