eye pain and hydrocodone?

I've been having eye pain, in one eye, everytime I try to come off of hydrocodone.  Even when it's just been a few hours since my prior dose I get pain, only on one side of my eye.  Is there anyone else who's experienced this?

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and I was taking a 7.5 dose lortab every 4 hours. I've been trying to taper off, but if I only take even half a dose my eyes hurt almost unbearingly, and the top of my head aches. I have to get off them, so any suggestions to ease the pain?

Are you taking 20-30 pills a day?  That is a lot.  Are you getting these legally?  Talk to your Dr.  There maybe a reason your eye hurts.  Could have nothing to do with the pills.
