I've only been on the fentanyl patch 25 mcg for a little over a month.  I have 5 patches left and then would like to drop to the 12 for a few weeks - Do you think I'll still have withdrawl??

Thank you for your reply - I do feel better about it.  I wasn't all that concerned because I've only been on it a short time and never went over 25.  But, I still needed comfirmation, thank you.

Being that you've only been on them for a little over a month you shouldnt experience any serious withdrawal effects. Everyone is different in how they react when tapering any opiate but I can tell you from my experience w/d's are greatly influenced by our mental state. When I went into a detox naive of w/d's I didnt have as bad of an experience as when I had done tons of research and got myself all hyped up to the fact that I could have serious w/d's. So hopefully you dont worry and stress yourself out too much over this drop, it really shouldnt be that bad. Good luck with everything, take care.
