finaly asleep! what is methadone?

well my husband is finaly asleep after being up for 2 days he is with drawing bad! what is methadone? and how does it stop with draws?

don't use methadone it is a replacement drug i am w/d from it rite now and is no fun at all

talk to fladdict about sub..i think of anything that may be better. but...
i dont know.maybe your hub is far a long he should stick it out..does he have valium or anything ?

Methadone is a substitute drug  that was given to long time Heroin users.......

Many people who have a very serious narcotic pain pill addiction share many of the same issues.......

Methadone Clinics are starting to be like party stores, pretty soon they will be on every corner........

So as long as you have your $75 a week they will be glad to give you your dose of Methadone.............

Most addicts that start using Methadone will continue to us Methadone for many many many many years.........

Some doctors will use Methadone to taper addicts off servere opiate addictions but years later the addict will still bring his $75 to the clinic for his dose.......

Now you have a legal addict that is supplied a very addictive drug by our wonderful government for a fee of course.......

To be honest,Methadone is the last drug I would recommend anyone take,even if I hated their guts. Tapering or going cold turkey from Meth
is like taking a trip to hell. As most on this forum would agree,there are
much better alternatives out there. The withdrawls are pure torture,that I would
not wish for anyone to go through,what I've gone through this past week.I'm
still shocked I'm still alive.Be safe,forget Methadone,only as the truely last
resort.
