first full day

Today was my first full day off Hydrocodone.  I have had some irritable bowl and a little mild diahrrea, but not bad.  I'm a bit achy, but that's not too bad either.  I've noted a marked decline in my appetite, which I'm rather pleased about.  I was concerned that I was going to end up "feeding" my cravings for the drug with FOOD since I was off the drug.  I think the uneasy feeling in my gut has curtailed my appetite though.  I had a very nice dinner tonight, but as soon as I finished I got a sinking feeling in my gut and had to run to the bathroom with a touch of diahrrea.  I'm okay now, but I feel kinda lethargic, no energy.  I also noted I got a bit irritated this evening while I was exchanging emails with my boss.  I think my gut's not the only thing that's irritable at the moment.  LOL!  Does this all seem typical considering I was taking about 4 hydrocodones a day for many months, up until yesterday anyway.  I only had one hydrocodone yesterday though.

Everything you are feeling is normal.  I wouldnt think that you will have wd's real bad,  more uncomfortable and annoying.  Take some warm baths or showers when you feel achy.  Get up and move around as much as you can.  You are doing great so on to day 2 we go!!!!!!!!              sara
