gaba?

i don't believe anyone has mentionned gaba,  yet it is supposed to be a sleeping and calming amino.  does anyone know if it helps?  i am thinking rls is a brain thing and maybe there is an amino for it.

do u have any phenergan on hand?  valerian root also help even during the day...muscle relaxers like zanflex, flexeril can also help chill u out....kava kava, theanine or real chinese tea, a walk briskly around the block, clonodine helps as well but check ur BP....lots of alternatives but sometimes a hot bath and good read can help more than all of the above

i took some this afternoon.  in fact i took a lot since i read online that it takes 2 grams to have any effect.  i don't know if that is why i am totally hyper,  have heart palpitations, and feel like ****.  rls hasn't started... yet.  i am sucking up the rylands.    also taking propranolol.  not working.  took some clonapin.  still hyper.  is this a phase of tramadol? hyperness?

gaba is helpful for sleep and I took it when sleep was an issue...it also helps people on benzos tremendously as it is very similar to benzos in chemical make up....there is some controvery over whether it can pass the blood/brain barrier but it helps me with sleep when i need it

There are a number of nutritional items that never get mentioned.The Omega 3,6, and 9 oils are also very important to a better recovery.
