today i am at 12 days clean and feel ok but i have a tooth ache and scared to take anything...i was addicted to tramadol and i have percecets would it b okay to take it or just though it??

i really appriciate everybodys advise...and bama88 i will try to get some hard liq. maybe i can get my hubby to get it, the thing is that hes a preacher.LOL..but i this case it would b silly to not buy it for me..

and to theaddict  i was not wanting anything till tonight, but now that i do its gone. i made a promise that i will not go down that road agian after being almost 2weeks clean i will not let my kids down any more..

Hey there...do you have some whiskey or rum? If you swish your mouth with hard liquor for as long as you can stand it it will help numb your mouth. Then get to a dentist asap. It seems to be a common problem when we quit using. We get toothaches because we neglect our teeth while were using..or eat candy when we were high. I jade to javelin three teeth pulled three weeks after i quit using oxies. I feel for ya. I do i do i do..

thanks to all...i bought some alieve and its helping some..ive been using orajel...but yes i do have nacotics in my house..i stopped taking my meds before they were gone so i ahve 250 tramadol and 60 perc. in my purse..the whole time i withdrawled i didnt even want them but now i do..i dont know why i packed them around i think it was a mind thing to me to know i had them and just didnt want em..thanks for the support.its greatly appriciated..and

I have really bad teeth thanks to genetics so I know how u feel. I've had an abscessed tooth for about 2 yrs now but can't afford to get it fixed...$2000 cuz I don't have dental insurance. Do u know WHY your tooth is hurting? If its abscessed and hurting, its bc its infected & u need to take an antibiotic like penicillen to kill the infection, thus, make it stop hurting. If you can't afford the meds, chew on cashews everyday. Believe it or not, they're said to help with tooth infections! Google it :o)  If its not infected but just hurting bc of a cavity, your best bet is to take an OTC pain reliever & invest in some oral gel!

Pain is a huge trigger and toothaches generally don't get better on their own. Have you called a dentist? I think that's your best bet. If the pain is excruciating and you feel you need to take a Percocet, make sure it's given to you and the rest are put away from you. Having the pills near you is just not safe for your sobriety. It's up to you...

if there is a hole in your tooth then get some clove oil and a qtip.Clip off the end of the cotton and dip it in the clove oil then cram it into the hole (in your tooth).you could also go try to get antibiotics from the dentist.

Noooo dont take them pills. Advil will do fine and u wont wanna start all over again. Perks are more addicting then trams IMO so u dont wana go down that road. I wouldnt even have em in the house no reason flush em so u dont have to worry about it. Let the sewer rats get high off that evil poison u dont need it. Trying punching something that way your hand hurts and takes your mind off your tooth thats what i used to do lol. We keep this train moving forward it aint got a reverse babe so keep ya head up and push thru it. This too shall pass!

gargle with listerine. or even put rum on the actual toothache. it sounds silly, but that's what i had to do when i had my bad toothache. also, if there's a hole in your tooth - i was told you can put an asprin in the hole and let it dissolve, or something.

No ma'am ~ibprophen  is a non narcotic pain reliever it should help. Percs are a very adiccitive narcotic.  To be honest it was my drug of choice but my docter would only give be loatab.  They are both very addicting and very bad for you.

You are clean now and its a very high possability that you would start the cycle all over again.  Take some advil and get some rest!
