heart pounding from norco withdrawals.

hi everyone. first off let me say this site helped me get through one of the hardest things ive ever had to go through... norco withdrawals. i was taking 12-15 a day for well over 3 years, got heavier during the end of it. but one day i decided to stop. and i did.

but! while i was stopping i did this.... 2 750 vic's the first two nights, 1 750 vic the third n fourth night, then nothing, im on day 11 now, and on day nine i took one because i had smoked pot because i heard it helped. it didnt.

my question is, my anxiety is insane. my heart is racing and pounding and has been for 3 days. it almost hurts. i know this is normal, but is it this far into it? is it because i didnt stop cold turkey? either way the first nights were hell. but ive made it this far. my heart racing is freaking me out tho. any words of advice?

Cool. Thank you guys so much. I took a little bit of a Xanax and it totally helped. Stoked too cause that means I get to sleep for the first time in 11 days! And yes thank you I don't like taking Xanax at all. But for right now well become acquaintances.

Xanex helped me through the 1st week... just make sure you dont transfer one addiction to another. Tell yourself after a few days..that u are going to be ok with without the anxiety meds... But if your having a really hard time, a xanex will probably help. good luck to you

I tried Xanax for a couple days. Didn't help too much but for some it does.

My heart felt like it was gonna explode, I was scared. It lasted for me about 7-8 days. I was on norco 10/325 and about the same amount per day. All of a sudden it was gone on day 8 or 9( can't remember exactly) so just hang in there you'll be ok. Good luck.
