But for now lots of water excersize, multi-vitamins, B-12 helps for energy and melatonin is an all natural sleep aid that will help with the insomnia, St. johns wort for depression and Valerian root for anxiety you can find all these all natural herb remedies at GNC but i would still try to get the withdrawal ease its worth the money.. hi and welcome to MH. yes there are supplies that you can use to help you be more comfortable during your detox, they dont take away the symptoms just make them more bearable. check out the amino acid protocol and the thomas recipe on the bottom right of this page.you will need to drink lots of fluids for dehydration, take hot bath with epsom salts,for the aches, eat bananans for rls,, get immodium for bathroom issues. keep yourself moving, exercise helps alot. you will feel the physical withdrawals for about 7 days. then you will have to go to counseling, one on one with therapists and support groups, na/aa, church groups, celebrate recovery,salvation army.
