You are doing great, nothing that is worth while is ever easy. You are almost thru the worst....take hot baths.....try to take a brisk walk even though you feel like you can even lift the remote. And when I was wd off vics, i think my mind was playing tricks on me, i was in so much pain and very emotinal but it didnt last. you are worst the hardest parts, first thing you want you life back and second you already have 3 days under your belt. I spent alot of time just reading on this website and not posting because I was not ready. I think that all of the reading on this website confirmed my thoughts of my pain managment doctor and all the pills i was a prisoner to..........you will do great if you follow your heart.....hang in there..jules
No need to feel nervous about being judged..you're an addict..I'm an addict..lots of addicts here..we nave no right or need to judge anyone. The physical withdrawals are going to slowly get better soon. You can go out and buy amino acids, and vitamins..but, the worst is almost over now. Here are some suggestions for the near future and the rest of you life though....Eat right, get some exercise, and get some therapy. The relapses come when we get lonely and angry. We feel resentments and anxiety. You need a group or a person to talk to about that. It's called aftercare, and it's the most important thing for continued clean time.
I think it is great that you are trying. Really 5 is not that much. Im not sure how your w/d's will be. Just hang in there. This could be much worse. Please do it now.
