hi al it has been since easter and life was easier on the meds

I have been off oxy since Easter, just a short statement, taking oxy was so easy and comfortable and relaxing.  Coming off them was hell and never expected but drinking is twice as bad.

The question go back to oxy or keep on drinking?  I stopped drinking for over two months and really enjoyed.

Need advice

I have to agree with Kyle here! I seriously doubt anyone here will tell you to choose one or the other! Chose life! You don't need either one of those to live a happy life! All the best!

hey ted, nice to see you. congratulations on your clean time. you are doing awesome. you know that going back on the pills isnt a good idea. i know we had already discussed the drinking too.
i forget if we spoke about counseling and/or support groups and what your response was. i think that is something you need to really consider.
please get help in understanding why you need to use a substance to make you feel better. you can live a clean and sober life.
please continue to talk with us ted we want to encourage you and help you.
praying for your strength and for you to consider what i have said,
debbie

I'm a recovering boozer - 27 years today as a matter of fact. And 6 months off pills. The question you pose is silly - the answer is you don't go back on oxy and you stop drinking. Boozing, like pills, distorts everything and in the morning it is always worse. It sounds like you are looking for a high, but can't decide which one to go with. And if you've come to this forum looking for an answer to your question then I think you've come to the wrong place.
