how do i stop think about oxy

good news but i need help right now

i had 4 oxy 80's in my hand and i was able to put them back in the medicine bottle. today is the first time ive managed to put any pills down. im itching to use them though right now and im starting to feel that feeling you get when you have a fever and all your muscles are super sore. what should i do right now to help myself guys? i am very weak minded and i need help. somebady know any good ways to keep getting high off my mind? i tried sleeping but my brain was kind of thinking too much about getting high so i could sleep without waking.

i writ this in other post but figured id put as a new question

You have to get away from those pills!!! I know if they were around me, it not a second thought would cross my mind- I would have already taken them... Good for you for leaving them alone... Just remember, while the pills are around you, you will think about them.  I am not sure what you should do about them, but you need to get away from them!  I agree with stilllost that methadone and suboxone are both pretty rough detox.  My fiance and I quit taking oxys cold turkey.  The feeling that you are feeling- like the flu- is your body going through withdrawl.  You will probably have some issues with sleeping, but once that passes, you will be ok!  Believe me, the WD are not fun at all, but I am so glad I am finally free from oxys!  Tomorrow will be 30 days for me... This forum is wonderful, everyone is so supportive! You can do this!

hey how are you doing? Are you still using?

I have never taken methadone before but it is a maintenance drug used by opiate users to help them get off the drugs. Similiar to suboxone. Definitely do your research about it, I know that when you try to get off methadone there is a pretty rough detox as well.

Get rid of those pills first of all !!!  That's always a big step !!   Then, try to distract yourself: movies, video games, computer games,reading...anything that makes you THINK !

Get out of your room and get outside in the sun. Get your hair cut or walk around some stores. You need to be out of your house.

Good luck with this.

Hello friend! I remember you saying a couple of posts back, that you were having sucidal thoughts, and I reminded you that you were going through withdrawals and your mind wasn't thing straight. You wanted to get off of oxy. You said you sent your friend a long email...(i remember lol). How did your friend respond? You said you told your family about your problems...how did they respond?
