thats exactly what i did was went down to crumbs every other day and it aint so bad this time
With suboxone, because of the long half-life, it takes a few days to feel the effects of stopping. My friends, who have weaned off jumped at 0.25mg and where skipping days before jumping, had minimally symptoms and started feeling better at about day 7. I am on suboxone but I am really going slow to wean off. I really wish you guys the best. You can do this!
God Bless
Theres a good chance youll keep getting better and i never mind talkin hell im sittin here goin through WDs id rather talk to people who know what im goin through. Rember also alot of its mentall to stress triggers WDs to get worse. i tried gettin off subs a month ago and i was on day 14 and it was just as bad as day 2! so i ended up relapsin and went back to subs now trin to get off again and this time i actually think i can do it! your mindset has alot to do with in and excersice as much as possible!
thank you for talking, I am wondering if I am ginksing myself because I feel not to bad today. I have had energy to load and unload my dishwasher and to clean the kitchen. I am baffled as to why i am not in horrible shape. Low energy but it is there. No rls today just yesterday, no body aches since yesterday. I don't understand. yesterday was hell. I hope it doesnt hit me again tomorrow
honestly 6months is rather short and you didnt use suboxone or anything like that so it shouldnt be too bad. they may get way worse normally around anywhere from day 3-5 but they wont last a month or anything at most by day 6 you should start feeling better. but everyone is different. hell im on day 5 of my detox from suboxone and i feel a lil bit better than yesterday im cold but sweaty all f***** day i have that horrible empty feeling in my stomach no matter how much i eat and have horrible rls and this is an improvement! just rember it will get better! also i excersice alot i run atleast 2mi a day and lift weights. the exercise helps any questions just ask
what should I expect for the next 48 hours. Here is my situation. I have been taking oxy's and hydros for about 6 months. anywhere from 50 mg to 100mg a day. I am in day two. I feel a hell of a lot better than yesterday except my diarrhea started 8 hours ago. Taking imodium it works. I am also taking a multi-vit, magnesium, potassium, ginseng, ibuprofen, my chills have weakened. I started all these vitamins last night. Any idea what i should expect for the next 24 to 48 hours?
you shoul read the amino acid protocol in the health pages. its been helpin me alot!! it ended up costin a lil over 100 bucks though for all the stuff! but well worth it. im on day 5 of a detox from suboxone its been pure hell but startin to get better i started takin the aminos yesterday and feel a noticable differnce today. i also have a 3 year old son i have to take care of while im going through this it aint easy! but hang in there it eventually starts to get better.good luck
I am with you. I have two kids ages 3 and 7 and a husband that have no idea. On day two now. and that is exactly what i am doing, faking the flu. i have been taking hydros and oxys for the last 6 months, about 10 a day. On day two I feel way better than I did yesterday. vitamins as i listed above really does help a world of difference from yesterday. the first 30 hours are hard but bearable. You can do it!
I took my last pill at about 745 this am and I'm now around 1 starting to feel yucky. I know it will get worse before it gets better I'm just so scared of being so sick and trying to fake and lie to my family that I have the flue or something like that because they dont know whats going on with me. Thanks
GOOD MORNING MISY, i AM ON THE 33 HOUR OF MY DETOX. SO FAR TODAY IS BETTER THAN YESTERDAY. YESTERDAY AFTER NOON I MADE MYSELF GO TO THE STORE AND GET MULTI-VITS, ST. JOHNS WART FOR MOOD SUPPORT, KOREAN GINSENG FOR ENERGY SUPPORT, MAGNESIUM, POTASSIUM, GREEN TEA EXTRACT BECAUSE I HATE GREEN TEA, IMODIUM FOR DIARREA, AND IBUPROFEN. i BELIEVE IT IS REALLY HELPING ME BECAUSE I AM ON DAY TO AND I FEEL WAY BETTER THAN I DID YESTERDAY. LOTS OF FLUIDS AND RED BULLS. HOW ARE YOU DOING.
Hi Misy.. Generally withdrawal from lasts anywhere from 5-7 days.. You are blessed to want to quit at 3 months of using.. I dont think you will suffer too much. Expect flu like symptoms for about 5 days..Dont be scared.. Its a LOT mental so prepare yourself to have the flu and just get through it. Rest when you can, stay hydrated, take vitamins and exercise.. Do not let yourself dwell on being sick.. stay positive and go for walks and stuff. Withdrawal from vicodin will not kill you and the more positive and determined you are the better your outcome will be. Your in a great place for support. Many here are going through this with you and many here have been through it already and have lots of helpful advice. Keep posting and stay strong!
