well, back to the original question...if it is just hydrocodone, levels drop dramatically by the 24th hour.  By 72 hours the drug is gone or not detectable by a drug test.  If you are asking how long the withdrawls from it last, it is at least 5-7 days.

I agree with you....there are a lot of people in need who are asking genuine questions and who are in great need.  I truly think that lives are being saved thru this forum.  It's better to be generous and honest...trusting the good in mankind...than to withhold info that can help someone on the other end of the keyboard.  So many of us feel alone in this struggle.  We are all here to help...right??!!!

I understand that, but sometimes stragglers come in and want to know......I don't see the harm in answering....they don't come around too often.  The best thing we can do is answer their question and invite them into the forum.  Maybe by answering and not being rude, thats one more person that may benefit from all of us here.....Maybe?  We are not so self righteous here.  There are many people using on this forum and we don't diss them for it.....right?.....I dunno.......

I feel like it is a good idea to ask why someone is asking a question so it can be answered accordingly...information about getting clean enuf for a drug test can be googled easily...there is no reason to really waste alot of time on helping a person who is cleaning up for a drug test next week then planning to use again////so i dont think questions asked by members were out of line....as this is not an information forum on How To Use Successfully......i know everyone does not feel that way and everyone is different...but it is true that u would approach the post in a totally different way so asking is significant

NaughtyOne...I'm ducking!!  Who is uptight anyway?  I suggest a hot bath (my new best friend LOL).

Have no idea why the question was posed initially.  I just applied for life insurance today and had to tell them that I am taking Rx for hydro.  Who knows...I may not get approved for the insurance even though it is Rx.

Why does everyone get so friggin uptight when someone just wants to know how long it stays in the system.  Who cares if they are quitting or not, or have a upcoming drug test or whatever.  Theres no reason we shouldn't answer the question.  We are here not to judge, right?

I had a liver biopsy a few years ago and the dr said I couldnt have the procedure until I was off hydros for 72 hours cause it had to be out of my system,,gl
