Oh, thank goodness you got her to the ER........I hear mono is pretty nasty, and that explains her symptoms. Take care of her.......and, yourself.
Luv,
nauty...........
thank you for all your support i just got back from the er with her and she ended up having mono this is a really good website u guys helped out alot and i appreciate it so much thank you all
i am pregnant and that sounds all to familiar, watch that temp and maybe buy a test!!! best of luck to you and your girl!!
With a temp of 104 her body could put her into convulsions. Please watch her closely.
Something sounds really funky here. Are you sure that she has only been taking them for a couple of weeks........It is possible to have withdrawals from only two weeks of use, but they would be pretty mild. 104 temp. is serious. My doc threw me in the hospital at 103 degrees. I dunno, something just doesn't make sense to me.........maybe she is preggo's........3-4 days off the vic's after two weeks usage, she should be done and feeling fine. I just don't know what to say.........I don't get it.......I wish you both well.
Nauty...................
I know you guys are trying to get pregnant, that's great btw! :) But, is there any possibility that she could be now? I have 2 kids, and honestly, that sounds like a lot of the symptoms. It really could be a number of things, and yes I agree that she should go to the dr to rule out a number of things. She can talk to him and they can figure out a plan of action of what to do to make her feel better. Hope everything is well! Best of luck! Love, Nikki
If she is scared that something is wrong with her will she let you take her to the ER?
The vomiting and temp elevation could be a couple of things - the vomiting (is diarreah an issue also?) could be w/d's or it could be strong anxiety messing with her stomach....basically "nerves". Take her temp more often - 104 isnt anything to sneeze at if it lasts - also keep a blood pressure diary if possible and get to the bottom of this no matter what it is if you wish to start/add family. At the same time dont add to her stress. Easy for me to say from here! Other w/d symptoms would be pyloerectus (hair standing up on arm as if frightened) rhinositus (runny nose) depression and anxiety are also on the list. So are sleep and eating problems and energy - fatigue, malaise. She is lucky that you wish to help - and will try to help actively. Best of luck
shes been off it for about 3 to 4 days
she says she wont do anything to herself only that she is really scared that there is something wrong with her
Please take her to the ER if she will let you. I am very worried. How long has she been off of the vicodin? I have a feeling it has been longer than a few days, yes? I am pretty sure that it isn't withdrawals but I am not a doctor nor would I be able to diagnose her over the computer. Please keep us posted here, we are here to help no matter if she is an addict or not.
See listening to all you have said, even with her physically getting sick sound like severe depression. Take he to the ER when you 2 are together this evening and let her explain to them what is going on and help her explain it to them. I think it is impotant that you do that for her so she doesn't hurt herself. You haven't said that she would but it is funny what you actually think about when you are that depressed. If you take her to the ER they can maybe give her a script to get her through the weekend or maybe even keep her over the weekend, but they will be able to point you into the correct place about what is going on and help her feel better. You can't force her to go but tell her that you are going to help her to feel better because you are so worried about her and that you love her so much. I am really concerned and I have been through a bad depression like that before. Please let me know how she is doing and if there is anything I can do to help please don't hesitate to ask. Feel free to PM me if you would like.
Lots of Love,
Fire
she has a temperature of 104 wen she got out of the shower and it went down to 99.7
maybe she's already pregnant.?? And on top of that suffering from mild withdrawls?? 2 weeks can cause withdrawls but they should only last about 4 days.
shes just really exhausted she went to work for the first time in two weeks yesterday and she felt like she really didnt want to be there she threw up and was on the verge of breaking down and crying there
no i told her she needs to get some and all she does is say ok ill get them and she never does i dont know how to make her listen to me
Also I was like that shortly after I got pregnant because I was so hormonal. Is she on any hormones to help the 2 of you get pregnant?
With just a two week history I am inclined to agree with the depression idea - but the symptoms are just like w/d's for that stage of the game so try and establish some non-judgemental communication so you may find out whats going on for sure....with the proper information you will be able to help her much more effectively.....and ask away if you have more questions......
It is possible that she is having withdrawals but not likely after only taking them for 2 weeks. It sounds like she is going through depression though. There are other symptoms other than crying and anxiety attacks that go with vicodin withdrawal. Does she have any restless leg syndrome, vomiting, diarrehea, difficulty sleeping, shakiness, flu like symptoms?
shes been taking hydrocodon for like 2 weeks because she had 4 wisdom teeth taken out we also have a problem tryna get preg which is also stressin her out
Have her join the forum. We could help her. Also look in the Health Pages here, right side of page. Look for the Thomas recipe. If she is in withdrawal, they will last about a week. Then the next week is a bit better but not great.
Why do you think it is withdrawals? How much vicodin and how long? If I knew more I could inform you better but it sound like it is possibly depression.
