I am trying to find out information about hydromorphone 12 mg. I have someone close to me that use to be addicted to this drug and they have been off of it for about 5 years and is on the methadone program but the other day i found a needle full with a empty pill wraped in tinfoil he said he was going to use but didn't but forgot about it being there and then at his parents house i found more stuff needles spoons 1 pill and a smoke with out the filter and he showed me his arms and i didn't see anything so my ? is how long does that stay good in the needle and where else on the body and it be put and being on methadone would the drug still work and how long does it stay in your system

If you are thinking your friend is using, the most you can do is suggest they get help.

No offense, but you are asking a lot of questions about 12 mg in specific, I am not understanding why "12 mg" of hydromorphone is such a big deal. It really don't matter what drug your friend is doing, sooner or later, it always catches up, just pray you.........sorry, I mean he dosen't have it catch up to much to him.

You know, I came here and posted about my friend as well. Everyone basically said the same thing. You can't help them..............you need to help yourself. So I see a difference here, I am taking pain pills, you are not. So maybe the answer to you won't be the same as the one I got here.

Personally, I would say that while this is a great place to learn information, doing some online/library research yourself won't hurt. I am in no way saying you shouldn't ask your questions here, these people together are like an encyclopedia :-)

I don't know about methadone and I have never used a needle to take anything, but I have lived my whole life around people who have used drugs. I know that with heroin you can basically shoot up in a HUGE amount of places. Between the toes is a popular place, but it makes sense that sense you can get a morphine shot in the butt cheek, it would work with methadone. I don't know for sure, that's for others here to answer who actually know for a fact.

One thing I do know, and I am saying this with compassion, not being a jerk, but with these spoons everywhere, either your friend is a junk food junkie like myself (spoons are used for pudding, cereal, and other such things) or he is using and shooting up to do it. When you find needles and spoons together, that's what is going on. It is POSSIBLE but most likely not the case that he is smoking it and melts it in the spoon......if you can smoke methadone that is.
