is anyone used tramadol/ultram and had a hard time getting off it help !!!
I still using tramadol and I can't stop it's become a big part of my life right now i'm a 29 year old mother and my family and fans don't know it yet!!! I been using for some years now tramadol that messed up my world and I tried to stop over and over even went in the hosp, told all my fans that I was just over worked but I really went to get help three times! i'm a big dummy for letting this drug hold me like this I'am a model that has lots of money but I would give it all up to be better again and yes i'm a superstar so why do i now I feel as if i'm nothing like i'm loosing I need that med to even move and if I don't take if I was become super sick!! I really don't want to tell my real name for the face that I know this post will just end up all over the news and papers so please can anyone out there tell me how can I over come this so that I can become who I once was so that I can get all my fans back that once loved me please this is a cry out for help!!!!!!
Welcome back, Tasha. Yes, we care about you and are glad to see you back. First thing, can you please take the "caps lock" off your phone or whatever you are typing on? That would help our eyes as we read your posts.
You are back asking for help. That's the first step. Then you have to seek help from those that are knowledgeable about drug addiction, in particular, Tramadol. You say you've been in hospitals and treatment centers, yet you say you haven't found any help there. It's VERY important to find a source of help that is familiar with Tramadol....it's true that for a long time many in the medical field did not call it an "addictive" med...but the laws are changing and it is NOW being recognized for what it is: a synthetic opioid with antidepressant properties.
We have a great group of Tramadol Warriors that help each other by posting in a journal that Emily Post started years ago. They ALL understand tramadol addiction and that might be a good place to start.
Here's a link to the latest journal.....start at the beginning and read and read and read. You will find support and help there too. It won't take the place of "in person" help, but will help you to see you are not alone in this.

You absolutely CAN be free and transform a life of active addiction into a life of recovery.....it's hard work....but it's the best gift you can give yourself AND your children.
Glad you are back....congrats on your latest baby boy....so sorry he had to endure withdrawals....it's time to make a decision....are you ready to put the work into getting clean? To do whatever you must do to accomplish that? I pray you will totally surrender and seek the help you need. We will all be here to support you. There is always hope..and love...keep the faith~

WELL HELLO EVERYONE MY BABY BOY WAS BORN MAY 4TH 2014 AND HAD TO STAY IN THE HOSPITAL WITHDRAWING FROM THAT ISHH SMH...... I'M A SHAM OF MYSELF OF LOVING THIS MESS MORE THAN HIM ... HE WENT THREW IT HARD AND I DID TOO! NOW THERE STOPPING TRAMADOL FROM BEING GOTTEN IN THE U.S.A ONLINE AS OF AUG.18TH 2014. I'M STILL USING IT I.D.K WHAT I'M GOING TO DO NOW I TRIED EVERYTHING EVEN GOING INTO THE HOSPITAL AND GUESS WHAT THEY TREATED ME WITH THIS ISHH SAYING THAT ALL THIS WAS IN MY MIND!!! 3X's is right - you need to find an OBGYN immediately and let them help you. Do NOT try to do this on your own.

Wow....Dear it looks like you are in quite the bind. But I can tell you it IS possible to turn things around. First.,.,since you are pregnant you MUST find a doctor to help you. Cold turkey quitting tramadol is VERY dangerous!!! It's dangerous for you and SUPER dangerous for baby! You need a doctor to wean you down off the meds.
It is very important you find a doctor to help you with this. Find an OBGYN doctor for your pregnancy and tell them your secret. They will not refuse to help because of the safety of your child.
Secondly, you have to start taking responsibility for yourself and your family. You have to want your children more that you want the high. I am a mother and addict as well and I know that's easier said than done, but dig down deep inside and push for your children's future with their mother.
After, you've talked with a doctor, you can use this forum here for support through the tapering down and quitting of meds.
There are lots of others on here with tramadol experience. I'm sure you'll get more advice and support here soon.

Hello everyone Tasha here again I saw all of you all's posted and it made me want to cry in a good way I mean just knowing that theirs someone out there who really cares and knows fully what you going threw day to day feel very good and heart warming inside. YOU ALL JUST HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH WHAT YOU SAID MEANT TO BE AND WELL MY BIGGEST REASON IS BECUASE THE LAST TIME I POSTED ANYTHING WITH YOU GUYS THREE DAYS LATER I WENT TO JAIL FOR BEING SO INTO TRAMADOL MY DR. DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE ME ANYMORE AND I CAN'T BUY IT ONLINE HERE IN MY STATE BECAUSE THEY STOP SHIPPING IT HERE SO I I MADE A REALLY BAD MOVE BY TRYING TO ACT LIKE I WAS A DR. AND CALLING IT IN MYSELF!!! WELL C.V.S DIDN'T FALL FOR IT AND WHEN I CALLED TO ASK THEM WAS IT READY THEY SAID YES SURE COME PICK IT RIGHT ON UP IT'S WAITING , BUT LITTLE DID I KNOW THE COPS WAS WAITING I MEAN THEY JUST BUSTED OUT OF NOWHERE AS SOON AS I ASKED FOR THE NAME I CALLED IN MY PROBLEM WAS WHEN SHE ASKED ME FOR THE D.E.A NUMBER AND SOME OTHER STUFF I HAD NO IDEA AND DR.'S KNOW THAT TYPE OF STUFF BY HEART!! Hi Tasha and welcome . . . I can relate to the Tramadol nightmare; I took it at really high doses for about 15 years. I was given it for back pain originally and took it as prescribed in the beginning but soon found that I needed more and more to get it to work. It never really was a great pain reliever for me, I think it was the anti-depressant properties that I became dependent on at first. It made me feel good, like I could do anything.....but then it turned on me fast. Over the years my tolerance just went over the top and when I had to have neck surgery last summer, NOTHING worked for pain. At one time or another I have been on pretty much every opiate out there, but never stopped taking my beloved tramadol (well, I should say I couldn't stop, or I be so sick). Anyway, I did finally break free from this evil med 5 months ago. I would be happy to share some suggestions with you about what worked for me. Can you tell me how long you have been taking it and how much per day? Tramadol does not like to let go and it is not easy to get off of, but it can be done. I was taking 45 to 50 pills a DAY at the time I quit. If I can do this, you can do it too. You have come to the right place; there is a lot of information and people here to support and help you through.

Hi Tasha,I to am coming off tramadol,and it is not fun,is there anyone in your life you can confide in? I have one person who knows my battle right now it it does help to be able to talk to her,as for family and other friends I am to ashamed that once again. I have gotten in this mess again,been to treatment once already,so no one knows what I am going through except all of you and my one cousin.I am a successful hair stylist and it is hard to keep up the front at work,I just tell clients I am hormonal that's why I breakout in sweats and feel so crappy. Sounds like you have a good life,and you know we cannot fully enjoy anything while shackled to theses damn pills. Be strong,we can beat this!
Hi, welcome here :)... don't feel ashamed, addiction knows no boundaries... we are not allowed to give tapering doses here but with tramadol, the slower the best, cold turkey is the worst idea because of seizures risk as i am afraid you might by now. As i said, the slower, the best, don't be in any hurry with tramadol, cut dow a little bit of your daily dosage, stay this way for a time till your body get used to it.
