If you feel comfortable,,definatly talk to your doctor. Keep in mind that opiates really screw with the chemicals in your brain,,,your brain quits making the chemicals that regulate mood,,depression,,etc because the opiates produce them for it. It takes a while for your brain to figure out that it needs to start doing that again,,hence the withdrawal depression. If you have any underlying issues such as depression you will need to address that as well whether with anti-depressants or natural remedies. You also need to cut off any supply of percocet that you have,,,canceling the script thru the pharmacy and cutting off the supply you have from your friends. Aftercare is also important,,NA/AA or therapy. I believe there are newer medications on the market to address the cystitis. I wish you the best and you can do this!!!~Bkitty
Talk to your pain management doctor. I have had abdominal pain for 10 years and I recently stopped taking all medication on Thursday. I feel a lot better. One thing I have heard of is medication when we become addicted to it will make you feel pain even when there isn't any just so you can feed your addiction. Your pain management doctor will know the beat way to help you through this. The mental withdrawal is different for everybody. Mine hasn't been that bad but its probably because I was fearing the worst with the evil things I have done in my addiction. I wish you nothing but the best and others will be along to reply shortly.
