hi everyb ody is taking hydrco 7.5 500 while withdrawing from methadone, will it make

im in my 15 day already the 7.5 i took em on the7 and8 th day only but was still nt  able to sleep and it was hell.still had the withdrawals.but last night i was able to sleep about 6 hrs and it felt good i think my brain just shut down and couldnt take it anymore after so many sleepless night. i do feel better today and pray to god that it will just keep getting better. thank for your coment now i know what to expect

HI Welcome to the forum...to truly withdrawal from methadone you need to stop putting narcotics in your body you just prolonging your withdrawals as long as you add narcotics you will not withdrawal and chances are high you will wind up addicted to the hydo
you best bet is to stop medicating the withdrawal and just go threw it it takes a wile to get over methadone the first month is ruff next moth yous sorta stuck a bit better but not by much its around 90 days where most people start coming around try not to get discouraged
you will eventually get better...I found whey protein shakes very helpful there loaded with vitamins ecental amino acids as well as the protein all of witch the brain needs to heal
you can pick it up at walmart for 15 buck for a 2lb can the chocolate flavor is good all you do is mix it with milk drink 2 a day it will speed up your recovery keep posting for support I went threw this and know your pain just know it is so so worth it when all is said and done.....Gnarly

Did not get a complete question, but I assume your asking if taking Hydro 7.5 a good method to WD from methadone?   I just came off a 20mg dose of methadone doing a fairly rapid detox in 3 weeks, it was truly a ride through he**, but I am very glad that I finally got off that stuff, it is very nasty and holds onto to you much longer than regular opiates.

The WDs got so bad, that I did go back to using Lortabs to take the edge off, but that was only for a few days and then I went completely cold turkey for a few months, it was still a rough ride and I learned that it will really just take some time and determination to get methadone out of your system.

The dangerous thing about using the 7.5's is that you are opening yourself up to another cycle of addiction, which in my case was my original DOC.  After almost 2 years of using methadone and not using opiates, I say myself going right back into the same mess that got me here.  I have had a couple of battles here and there with binges, but for the most part I was able to catch myself and have a couple of clean weeks under my belt.

Methadone WD is a complete monster, but anyone who comes out of that has the ability to do anything that put their minds to....I wish you the best and encourage you to keep posting.
