Why use vicodin? Its defeating the whole recovery process, not to mention methadone will block anything that makes ya feel good, I have some percs in my bathroom, they have sat their for two years & I have no desire no want in the world to ever touch that stuff again, & trust me when I say, I have had many days when I felt pritty rough & still never ever thought about using. I am using some medication called atarax, & I have only used one last night, just to help me sleep, as sleep has been my downfall. You can do this, just keep plugging away at it & you,ll get their, trust me, you will! But ya got to want it, & want it real bad, as I do.

NO THEY DON'T INTERACT BUT IT MAKES NO SENSE TO USE BOTH DRUGS.

We are on day 26 or something...there are still wd symptoms but they are becoming more mild.  I want to talk with you soon regarding timing your taper in a way that really helps.  Methadone is different than any opiate and it poses a far higher degree of difficulty in detoxing from...but we did it and we are going to help you do it!  The biggest thing is a positive frame of mind and removing the fear and dread....

Hello there, we have been thinking about you!

It does not interact, but you are 'wasting' the vics...as methadone is an opiate blocker.  If you feel the need to taper of what you have of the methadonde...then use the vics after your wd begin.

I am not an advocate for a method like that, but I understand your situation.  Hang in there..we will talk soon!

Peace
Murphy

I don't quite understand this. You are taking these drugs to withdrawl from what? It's not a good idea to use hydrocondone and methadone at the same time or even on alternating days. More info, please

What if you planned on going c/t starting Friday? The symptoms really shouldn’t start for 12-18 hours after you stop taking, at least they didn’t for me, my DOC was vicodin, and then he could help you thought the weekend. Depending how old your kids are, if they think Mommy has the flu they might help around the house too.

I have five kids and that might sound like an excuse but it is so hard 2 have to deal with being sick and still having to take care of all the house hold dutes that come along with being a mom. i want to be clean i just cant stand the thought of doing it cold turkey.

I don't know your story, but what about just flushing what you have, doing a jig as they swirl away and be clean now?
