vics are short for vicaden and no it wont work for getting rid of the withdrawals it will only substitute one drug for another you cannot get rid of the withdrawals using another narcotic this will just prolong the process you have to be narcotic free to heal from methadone and its a slow gradual process for most it takes about 90days you judt got to grindf it out you do get better as you go along its just painfully slow good luck and God bless.........Gnarly
